Use of data 

By taking part in our promotion, Eventbrite will collect your data and share it with AB InBev once the event has completed.  Ab InBev may use and receive your data for the following purposes:  

1. through information requests to within Eventbrite to sign up for the competition, promotion or event.  We may ask you for certain information e.g. your name, age, mobile telephone number, email address. We use this information to contact you to confirm that you participate in an event, competition, or promotion or to notify you that you have been selected as a winner.  

2. AB InBev will take photos and videos of attendees at the Believe Arena at Gare Maritime Brussels and publish them both internally and externally (e.g. Facebook/ Instagram/ image brochures). For this purpose, Ab InBev will process the following data categories: Photo or video recordings of attendees

In most of the cases we processed your personal data base on your consent in accordance with Art.6(1)(a) General Data Protection Regelation (GDPR). In very specific cases as detailed below, the processing of your personal data is based on AB InBev legitimate interest base on Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR.  

Data Analytics 

In taking part in this promotion, AB InBev will use your personal data for marketing analytics and statistical research. The statistics will be constructed by using your personal data but the analytics will be done in an aggregated form and not shared with any third parties or partners at any time. This market analytics will help AB InBev further understand its consumers and, in the future, provide them with better products and services. Photography and Video usage 

In taking part in this promotion, you consent to the fact that AB InBev will use your personal data by taking photos and videos of attendees at the Believe Arena at Gare Maritime Brussels and publish them both internally (e.g. intranet) and externally (e.g. Facebook/ Instagram/ image brochures). For this purpose, Ab InBev will process the following data categories: Photo or video recordings of attendees. The publication of these recordings is done both for advertising purposes and to improve internal corporate communication. We will process these data categories based on our legitimate interest. Please be aware that you can out-out at any time and make your objection known at the event or this email  abi-team@first-privacy.com 

Your participation in the photos or videos is coupled with your participation in the event. If you do not wish to participate in this activity, you are free to refuse and this will have no negative consequences. Please also note that when photos are published on the Internet and in social networks, there is always the risk that they will be further distributed without the intervention of AB InBev and therefore cannot be completely deleted.   

Direct Marketing 

If you have provided us with your consent, in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, you will receive email messages and SMS about Jupiler, AB InBev's brands and our companies that we think may be of interest to you. Data Management Platforms 

Your data may be collected processed in our Data Management Platform (DMP) operated by Salesforce.com, Inc. Our purpose of using DMP is to ensure that you receive advertisements tailored to your interests in our and other sites that you visit. A DMP is an advertising technology that automatically creates audience segments to share the best of our campaigns. A DMP uses cookie and non-cookie technologies to recognize your computer or device and/or to collect and record information about your web surfing activity including your activities on or off this website. DMP automatically analyses and categorizes data deriving from different sources for example other sites and from other beer lovers.  

We will only process your personal data for this purpose after you have provided us you consent, in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. You will not suffer any detriment if you would like your data not to be send to one or all DMP providers. You can withdraw your consent on the cookie banner. 

After you consent to this operation our DMP will start processing your data and it will be shared with other parties such as publishers, marketing data providers and business partners. Customer Data Platform 

Our website has in place a Customer Data Platform(CDP). Our purpose in using CDP is to ensure that you receive advertisement content tailored to your interests in our websites and also in external sites you visit. Once consent is provided, our CDP will start processing your data and it will be shared with other business partners of ARM Treasure Data using the same tool. User Rights 

The GDPR gives you a number of rights. As a participator in our event you have the right to request information on the data we store about you as well as the purpose of their storage. In addition, you have a right to demand that incorrect data are being corrected and data which are inappropriate or no longer needed are being deleted. You also have the right to request from us to restrict the processing of your data as well as the right to data portability.  

If personal data is collected according to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR you have the right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, at any time to processing of personal data. We will no longer process the personal data unless we demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override the interests, rights and freedoms of you or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.  In order to exercise your rights, you can contact us in the channels mentioned in the sections “Data Protection Officer” and “Complaints”. 

 

Security Measures 

We adopt technical and organisational measures to protect your data as comprehensively as possible. In addition to the commitment of our employees to secrecy and a careful selection and monitoring of our service providers, we also secure our operating environment adequately. To protect your data against unwanted access, we use data encryption. Data collected from this promotion will be passed between your computer and our server and vice versa via the internet using data encryption in transit technology. If the connection is encrypted the 'lock' symbol on your browser status list will show as locked, and the address line will start with "https://". To have your data secured in transit, we use at least the TLS 1.2 standard (Transport Layer Encryption standard). 

Legal Drinking Age 

This promotion is not intended for individuals under the legal drinking age. If we later learn that an individual under the legal drinking age has provided us with personal information, we will delete it. Please do not share or forward this promotion or its contents to anyone underage. 

Transfer to third parties 

We may disclose your personal information to third parties such as our group members, our professional advisers, our external and internal service providers that provide services to us (such as distribution of newsletters, IT hosting and market research). Sending information overseas 

Personal information is sent overseas in limited circumstances to other subsidiaries of our corporate group whose parent company is the Belgian company, ANHEUSER-BUSCH INBEV S.A./N.V. with registration number 0417.497.106, to provide hosting services and support services within the group. AB InBev will not send your personal information to a recipient outside the EU / the EEA without obtaining your consent or otherwise complying with the relevant privacy legislation.
